How to fix incorrect data links between HubSpot and Severa records
What should be done if a contact, company, or deal is linked to the wrong record between HubSpot and Severa?
Incorrect links can be fixed by removing or updating the linking IDs in either system.
Linking fields in Severa:
- HubSpot company ID
- HubSpot contact ID
- HubSpot deal ID
Linking fields in HubSpot:
- Severa customer ID
- Severa address ID
- Severa contact ID
- Severa project ID
- Severa root phase ID
These values are technical IDs visible in the record’s URL.
You can either:
- remove the ID and let the integration re‑link the records automatically, or
- manually enter the correct ID
Updating the record triggers the integration to re‑evaluate and restore the correct link.
